Alida Hillary is Head of Research Operations for Povaddo’s Cape Town affiliate. In this role, she oversees all aspects of the research venue, ensuring a seamless and productive experience for the research team. This includes management of procurement, recording, scheduling, and recruitment. Alida takes pride in her ability to think outside of the box and solve problems quickly. She thrives under pressure and will do anything it takes to keep a research project on track. As the recruitment team manager, Alida conducts meticulous quality checks and ensures that participants fully understand the value of their participation.
Alida has been working in research for more than 25 years and is passionate about the industry and the valuable relationships that she has built. She partners with a wide network of researchers and vendors, making her quick to achieve results. Alida’s passion for research is fuelled by the thrill of discovery and being part of shaping new ventures. Her ‘can-do’ attitude ensures that client needs are not only met, but exceeded. Alida’s background in running infamously challenging ultra-marathons has instilled in her the discipline and perseverance that she brings to her work every day.
Alida is originally from Windhoek, Nambia. She is an avid runner and bakes the best banana muffins.
