Max Seippel

Research Director

Max Seippel is a Research Director at Povaddo. Investigating complex questions energizes Max, who leverages 11-years of quantitative and qualitative research experience to guide clients in making difficult business decisions. As a Burke Institute-trained focus group moderator, Max specializes in fostering conversations with individuals working in policy, regulatory, and public health spaces both domestically and internationally. Max also manages quantitative projects that measure and concretize how public opinion may influence a company’s reputation and business operations.

Prior to joining Povaddo, Max delivered actionable insights for large corporate clients at MAGNA Global, IPG Mediabrands’ in-house research and investment agency. Max also worked at Remesh (a 2021 Fortune: Impact 20 company) where he moderated online focus groups for Fortune 500 CPG clients, consultancies, and market research firms.

Max completed his bachelor’s degree in marketing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and his master’s in communication studies at the University of North Dakota, where he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant.

Max is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. He is an avid rock climber and pickleball player. In his free time, Max also enjoys reading nonfiction books focusing on political, international, and business affairs.
