Nina Laubscher is a Research Manager in Povaddo's South Africa office. With an extensive academic background specializing in quantitative research, she possesses a robust set of skills relating to research design, survey design and development, sampling, data collection, and data analysis.
Before joining Povaddo, Nina worked as a Media Analyst at Meltwater, where she monitored and analyzed media coverage across multiple platforms to deliver valuable insights on public sentiment, emerging trends, and the impact of organizations' communication strategies. She holds a Master of Commerce and a PhD in Strategic Management from the University of Stellenbosch, with her doctoral research focusing on the organizational implications of big data analytics. These experiences have not only sharpened her research skills and ability to think “outside the box” but have also fueled her curiosity and passion for the research process.
Nina was born and raised in the winelands of Durbanville, Cape Town. Outside of work, she enjoys both road and trail running, reading, and spending quality time with family and friends.
