Shelby Johnson is a Senior Research Director at Povaddo. She specializes in developing qualitative and quantitative research solutions on complex business and societal issues to facilitate data-driven strategic decisions at the highest levels of client organizations.
Shelby began her career at FleishmanHillard’s in-house research division, TRUE Global Intelligence, before moving to Ipsos, where she specialized in customer experience (CX) research. Throughout her career, she’s worked with clients across a diverse range of sectors, including food and beverage, telecommunications, financial services, e-commerce, travel and healthcare. Shelby graduated magna cum laude from Lawrence University with a bachelor’s degree in cultural anthropology that included a concentration in East Asian Studies. During her studies, she conducted self-directed research in the United States, China, Italy, and Vatican City.
Shelby was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. When she’s not working, Shelby enjoys watching Formula 1, spending time outdoors and reading.
