1. Your Privacy Matters

POVADDO PANEL is a secure and professionally curated database of public and private sector policy insights cultivated in dialogue with professionals worldwide. It seeks to introduce members to research opportunities ranging from one-on-one interviews and traditional survey instruments to targeted focus groups with similarly situated peers. Ultimately, our goal is to collect thoughtful opinions on key public policy topics and market challenges while at the same time financially compensating Povaddo Panel members for the time and expertise they provide.

If you want to be a Povaddo Panel member, know that central to our work is a commitment to maintain transparency about the data we collect about you, including how it is used and if or when it is ever shared.

To that end, the PRIVACY POLICY described herein governs the information all members provide when they join the Povaddo Panel and the data we might subsequently gather during your time as a panel member. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please contact us at info@povaddo.com.

NOTE: Where relevant, for potential members from the European Economic Area (EEA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliance measures will be so noted

2. Your Profile

During your initial panel sign-on and member setup, as well as periodically thereafter to maintain accurate records, Povaddo Panel will request, collect, and store:

• DEMOGRAPHIC information, including age, gender identity, location, and political affiliation.

• CONTACT information, including email address and telephone number.

• JOB or CAREER details, including area of specialization, position, LinkedIn profile, and a brief description of how your work influences policy.

• The PAYMENT method you prefer for compensating your research participation, should you be invited to participate in an interview, survey, or panel experience. [see ARTICLE 5 | GDPR]

3. How We Use Your Profile

We gather demographic and career information from our members (your PROFILE) to match them with the compensated research opportunities we feel best align with your unique expertise. This information and contact and payment details are NOT sold or otherwise provided to third parties. [see ARTICLE 5 | GDPR]

4. Your Research Contributions

When invited to complete a survey, participate in an interview, or join a focus group, we will collect written summaries, transcripts, or digital audio and video recordings of members’ insights and opinions.

5. How We Use Your Research Contributions

Before releasing or in any way disclosing your research responses outside the internal Povaddo Team, we will incorporate your insights into thematic reports that identify relevant data points and highlight expert perspectives in an aggregated form, synthesizing your contributions with those of other survey respondents, interview subjects, or panel participants (so as NOT to identify or otherwise disclose your participation). [see ARTICLE 5 | GDPR]

6. How We Communicate

WE WILL NOT SOLICIT, RESELL, HARVEST, ETC. Povaddo Panel will NOT contact you via email, physical mail, or text to promote, advertise, or otherwise solicit your engagement with related research services Povaddo Panel provides to its customers, nor will we engage in the reselling or any other distribution of your information to third parties.

WE MAY SCHEDULE. In some instances, we MAY use commercial focus group or meeting schedule platforms to send invitations, confirmation requests, or reminder emails for Povaddo Panel events like interviews and focus groups, but we will NOT otherwise share your email address with any third party.

WE WILL REACH OUT FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION. We WILL contact you via email to share research opportunities in which you may be interested, as well as provide you with the opportunity to update your member profile, coordinate and schedule your participation in interviews, focus groups, or surveys, and, finally, to arrange for and confirm timely payment for your services.

MOBILE. We may also notify you via mobile (SMS, RCS, iMessage, etc.) should you agree to participate in an interview or focus group event and are not reachable at its scheduled start time. However, like your email address and other contact information, your phone number will NOT otherwise be used by Povaddo Panel or shared with third parties.

INTRUSION. In the interests of protecting you, we will also contact you as soon as possible via email (or mobile, if necessary) should we feel a data breach has somehow compromised your information. [Articles 13 and 14 | GDPR]

7. How We Share Information

Your demographic information, contact information, job details, and preferred payment method (PROFILE) may be seen and shared internally by the Povaddo Panel Team.

Job titles, geographic locations, areas of specialization, and details on how potential panel members influence policy — in aggregate — may be shared with organizations interested in conducting research with Povaddo Panel, but only to verify the feasibility of a given research opportunity, not to disclose the identity of specific panel members or confirm that you are (or once were) a Povaddo Panel member. [Article 5 | GDPR]

8. How We Retain Information

We will retain your demographic, contact, job details, and preferred payment method on our secured servers in the United States as long as you are a member of the Povaddo Panel. Once notified of your desire to leave Povaddo Panel, your member data will be deleted from our servers. [Article 5 | GDPR]

9. How You May Update or Cancel

You may contact us anytime to update your profile or withdraw from Povaddo Panel altogether. Any request that we delete your data will be honored within seven (7) calendar days and confirmed upon your request. [Article 17 | GDPR]

10. Breaches

We are committed to safeguarding your participation in the Povaddo Panel through industry-standard measures intended to thwart unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or data destruction. In the event of a data breach, we will assess the incident, investigate the breach to determine and mitigate its scope, and notify you promptly if your personal information appears to have been compromised.

However, while we strive to protect your data to the best of our ability, we encourage you to use strong passwords and exercise caution when sharing sensitive information online or accessing Povaddo Panel through networks you feel may be vulnerable to interception or surveillance. [Articles 5 and 32 | GDPR]
